Simon Cowell, 60, is best known for his sharp-tongued critique of hopeful talent on X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent. Over the years, the British millionaire has been linked to a number of beautiful women in high profile relationships.
Despite numerous opportunities to settle down, Simon has never been married.
He was engaged to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy from 2010 to 2011, and after their split, some shocking revelations came to light in extracts from journalist Tom Bower’s book The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell.
He was quoted as saying: “I’m a hopeless boyfriend.”
He said the relationship ended after dramatic fights.

He said: “I don’t blame her. I’m attracted to crazy women. I encourage crazy behaviour and I make them crazy
“I’m attracted to certain personalities who are difficult to control.
“So there are tantrums, tears and fights, which is all part of the drama. My life is really odd.
“Every girl wants to be number one and they’re very territorial.
“I like the fight, because otherwise I’d have a dull group of girlfriends.”
After recovering from the breakup of his engagement, Simon was linked to Lauren Silverman, who is still with today.
However, the couple had a rocky start to their relationship.
Lauren was married when they allegedly began seeing each other, and it all emerged when Lauren was reported pregnant with Simon’s child.
At the time, Simon said: “There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right, but I really have to be sensitive because there’s a lot of people’s feelings involved here.”

Lauren had one son from her marriage, and after her divorce, Simon confirmed the couple were expecting.
Their son, Eric, was born on February 14, 2014.
Simon has previously maintained he wasn’t interested in marriage and children, but he sees to have changed his mind.
During an interview on the Sun’s Bizarre Life podcast, he said: “I do feel happier than I’ve been in years. Both Eric and Lauren are a big part of that.”
When asked about his thoughts on marriage he added: “ I think with anything in life just let things happen rather than plan.
“I’m saying that all the good things that have ever happened in my life I’ve never, ever planned.
“I genuinely mean that. From when I left school at 16 I didn’t know what I was going to do, I just promised myself I will not be bored when I’m older.
“I’m not going to join a golf club and I’m not going to have horrible dinner parties. And I’ve kind of succeeded on those.
“And like I said about Eric, I hadn’t planned to be a dad but I wouldn’t change anything. That’s it, that’s a good swerve.”
