Selena Gomez has been using her platform to get out the vote, and on Oct. 24, the 28-year-old singer used her Voting Power Hour appearance to galvanize fans to make their voices heard in the upcoming presidential election. “I’m super invested in this right now,” Selena began. “I feel hopeful.”

In addition to speaking with several fans and showing viewers how to use OutVote (an app that helps users get involved with campaigns and important causes), Selena revealed that she already voted, as we saw on Instagram, and it turns out, it was actually her first time doing so. “Honestly, I’m not ashamed to say this, but I kind of — this was my first time.
