Anna Wintour grilled Rihanna about becoming a mom during a recent Q&A for Vogue, and Rihanna, 31, is just fine with the fashion icon asking her about pregnancy.
“A lot of women get very defensive. It’s personal. It’s our bodies. And, of course, it’s our time. And it’s not necessarily everyone’s dream to be a mom, but it’s mine, so I’m fine. Anna just wants to know what the people want to know,” she told “Extra” at the launch party for her photo book, “Rihanna by Rihanna.”
The singer took a page out of Madonna’s book and banned cell phones at the party held at the Guggenheim Museum on Friday night. Guests were forced to lock their phones in a Yondr case before entering the venue.
Inside, Rihanna walked through the museum with security as eager fans followed her every move. “She was so gracious. She hugged so many people,” a source told Page Six. Even the museum’s star-struck staff was gawking at the Fenty mogul.
One group in the museum was convinced she should run for office — or maybe it was the Ace of Spades champagne open bar talking.
“She should definitely be our next president. She has to be our next president. I’ve never experienced anything like this,” the overzealous guest said.
Patrons paid $150 to attend the event and went home with the star’s photo book.
