Love Island’s Tyla Carr splits from boyfriend months after birth of baby son
The Love Island villa may be serving up its fair share of tea-spillage, but life back in the real world is just as chaotic for the ex-Islanders.
Tyla Carr , who found fame on the 2017 series, has split from partner Rossco Edmonds just seven months after giving birth to their baby son.
She announced her newly single status this morning, sharing a snap of herself wearing a gorgeous black evening gown on Instagram .
Tyla had been out for a night with her girls, who she thanked for looking after her.
"I am recently single, I've been super quiet because I'm really not sure what to say, it's an awful situation, but I will explain a few things in good time," she wrote in the caption.
"This night out was really needed so thank you to all my lovely girls.
"This night helped me get away from all the stress and just be me for the night. So thank you girls :)."
Tyla, 26, also revealed how she's feeling now she's facing life as a single parent.
"All my fellow Mums, and even you Dads… when you have a young child, it's not often you get a night away, get to dress up and leave the sick stained tops at home for the evening," she continued.
"It's not often you get to go out and have a real conversation and leave the baby voice you seem to have forever accumulated at home.
"However the hangover with @archie.edmonds was really pretty bad, thank God I'm staying at my mums for a while," she joked.
" #thankgodformums #thankgodforfriends #love #friends #singlemumlife #scariestthingever ! Anyone else avoiding nights out because they know they've got to endure their babies energy levels from like 6am the next morning?"
In December last year, Tyla and Rossco announced they'd welcomed their son Archie Ray into the world.
The couple, who were still loved up at that point, even hinted they were set to get engaged.
"I'd like to be engaged by the time Archie starts school. I’m not that fussed about actually getting married though," she told OK! magazine.
"I'd like to get engaged. We've only been together a year," Rossco added. "We’re going to concentrate on Archie for the time being, but it’s the next step."
The couple found out Tyla was pregnant just four months into their relationship, but vowed to put their baby first.
Previously, Tyla coupled up with Dominic Lever after his girlfriend Jessica Shears was voted out of the villa – but Dom and Jess are now back together and expecting their own baby.
