Love Island winner Amber Gill has made the hilarious admission that she lied in her introduction video tape for the reality series.
The 22 year old Geordie stunner made the confession that she fibbed about never being rejected in her pre-villa interview in a video which she posted on her Instagram story to speak about the new Love Island contestants.
In her pre-villa interview clip, Amber says through laughter: “I’ve never been rejected in my life. Oh my God, I’d be shook. I don’t know what I’d do!”
But, Amber, who recently confirmed she is a millionaire, has now back-tracked on the claim, after being publicly dumped by Michael Griffiths and Greg O’Shea from the reality dating show.
Speaking in the clip, which she uploaded to her Instagram story, Amber revealed she’d been getting a lot of questions about the new Love Island contestants.
She says: “So I’ve been getting messages all the time – well, not all the time, the past two days – about the new islanders and what I think of the new Love Island.

“To be honest, I’m really excited to watch it because it’s not gonna be stress because I’m not in it, I’m just gonna sit on the sofa and relax and watch it and give my opinions and get involved in the memes.”
She then adds: “As far as my opinions go on the islanders, it’s hard to say. I don’t wanna get an opinion yet.”
Amber explains why she’s not going to judge the new islanders, who were confirmed earlier this week, and makes the hilarious confession.

“I was saying all kinds of madness on my VT,” she says. “I wouldn’t want anyone to judge me on that – even though that’s what it’s there for.”
The Geordie beauty then adds: “But, I’m sure I said I’d never been rejected or something like that, which is a full on lie but I just wanted to sound interesting.”
Clarifying, Amber added in writing below the clip: “Well not a lie but I’ve never been rejected because I’ve never made the first move.”

But it seems rejection worked in Amber’s favour in the end, as she was a fan favourite among Love Island viewers during her time on the popular reality show.
Fans praised her for the way she conducted herself after being dumped by Michael Griffiths, 27, and Greg O’Shea, 24, after winning the show with him.
Speaking about the audience’s reception to her empowering actions after leaving the villa in September, Amber said: “When I came out people were like: ‘You’ve been such an inspiration and a role model for girls,’ and that was lush for me.
“If someone does you wrong just get rid of them. It works out better for you in the end.”
