Liam Payne snuggles up to supermodel Stella Maxwell in cosy Instagram snap

Liam Payne has caused a stir on Instagram after sharing a snap of him cuddling up to stunning supermodel Stella Maxwell with his 17 million followers.

The One Direction star, 25, has been linked to a string of models since his split from girlfriend Cheryl last year.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, Liam shared a cosy photo with Victoria's Secret angel Stella, 29, who wrapped her arms tightly around him.

Fans immediately went wild for the snap, though Liam appeared to suggest their relationship was business only.

In the caption he wrote: "So happy to be working with this one again" – though his fans cheekily labelled them 'couple goals.'

It's not the first time romance rumours have swirled around the pair.

In April the pair were spotted heading into a restaurant in Berlin together.

An onlooker claimed the pair arrived at the Grill Royal separately but sat next to each other at their table, where they were joined by a small party.

A source told The Sun : “They’re both ­similar ages and bonded over their experiences in showbiz.

“They were seen deep in thought at the dinner and were clearly ­having a good time. Who knows where this could lead?”

Bisexual model Stella is thought to be currently single after splitting with Twilight actress Kristen Stewart in December.

However Stella and her ex Kristen were photographed spending time in Italy together this month.

The pair enjoyed a cruise along the Amalfi Coast before indulging in a spot of sunbathing.
