Another gushed: “I really needed this right now. Thank you Lewis.”
“We certainly do Lewis! We’re with you every step of the way. Much love and respect to you”, a third fan commented.
A fourth replied: “Show them who’s the champ Lewis we believe in you.”
Lewis’ post comes after he missed out on pole for the Hungarian Grand Prix, meaning he started today’s race in third position on the grid.
The five-time world champion won this tournament last year and still has a 41-point lead at the top of the driver standings.
The star issued a warning to Red Bull rival Max Verstappen, 21, before the clash.
After praising the Formula One driver for his impressive qualifying round, he told him to expect an early attack in Mogyorod.
Lewis said: “I’m always down for a fight. There’s a long way down to Turn One so it should be interesting, hopefully we can give them a run for their money.
“Naturally, you’re always going to be targeting first, but Max did a great job and so did Valtteri.”
He then admitted: “It kind of got away from me a little bit in qualifying but I’m still in a good position to fight for the win.”
Elsewhere, Lewis revealed a hidden health issue on Instagram after seeking advice from a specialist about his “thinning” hair.
