Khloé Kardashian has had to deal with people judging her face and body for some time and she admitted she’s finally reached a “breaking point.” During the recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she explained that she’s tried to ignore the haters, but it’s taken a toll on her.
Khloé Kardashian admitted that it’s hard to ignore the trolls
During the March 25 episode of KUWTK, Kardashian said she felt overwhelmed by what people thought about her.
Kardashian told Scott Disick that the innocent comment he made on one of her Instagram pics about Tristan Thompson being a “lucky man” really brought out the trolls.
“Scott, I got a whole lot of action this weekend and Friday from your little comment you made on the ‘gram,” she told him. “The amount of action I received?”
She wasn’t happy with the negative attention and deleted Disick’s comment. “Honestly, me and Tristan are figuring things out but I’m still trying to navigate my way through my feelings and that’s how I want to keep it,” she explained.
When Kardashian admitted she was affected by “how the public treats me,” her sister Kim Kardashian West gave her two cents. “I’m so over you bowing down to what the public thinks,” she said.
Disick said that she’s better off not letting other people make her feel bad. “The truth is, no matter what you do, people are always gonna talk sh*t,” he said.
Kardashian shared how she’s been “incredibly vulnerable and so open with the show, with my life” but had reflected on not opening herself up for all the criticism.
“Recently, I would say, I’m really affected by what people have to say about my relationship,” she shared. “Like I’m not even able to make up my own mind because I’m so flooded with everyone else’s opinions or criticisms.”
Kardashian said her ‘soul was at a breaking point’
Kardashian has found it increasingly difficult to deal with some people’s criticisms of her, especially when it comes to her weight or how her face looks different than it used to. She has tried to laugh off some of the comments, responding to one fan on Instagram who said she looked “different,” with the clapback that it was “from my weekly face transplant clearly.”
Kardashian appeared to address the haters in a series of quotes on her Instagram Story. “Next time someone tries to put you down, remember that confidence is quiet but insecurity is loud,” she posted.
Another post read, “Remember you will never be criticized by someone who is doing more than you. You will only be criticized by someone who is doing less than you.”
During the episode, Kardashian told Thompson that she wants to share less of her life. “I didn’t mind what Scott said,” she told him. “It was more the aftermath of it all.”
“My soul is at a breaking point in regards to the public thinking they’re allowed to talk about my weight, my face, my personal life,” she said, telling Thompson it’s important to “protect my mental health.”
“I’ve always been incredibly open with this show and my life, but I just don’t think I have it in me anymore. It’s not healthy for my spirit,” Kardashian added.
