Johannes Radebe, 34, took a tumble last weekend as he performed a Salsa to We Are Family by Sister Sledge. It happened after the Strictly pro’s dance partner, John Whaite, lifted him at the end of their routine, in a moment that went awry.
Now, Johannes has taken to Instagram to look back on the blunder after he was recognised and laughed at while shopping.
In view of his 318,000 followers, Johannes penned: “There’s a lady who just broke into laughter at my sight in Sainsbury’s for what felt like forever.
“Through that laughter she says ‘you fell like a sack of potatoes last night….’.
“I was done!” he added, alongside a series of laughing face emojis.
The Strictly star went on: “I had the best time this past week with @john_whaite, dancing to that tune.
“Thanks for holding me up bébé. To @mattflint23 and @patrickhelm thank you for creating this joyous disco inspired salsa.”
Johannes also dedicated part of the post to thanking fans who had been voting for him and John to stay in the programme.
He typed: “To everyone who is voting and supporting us, thank you for contributing to our time in this competition.

“Beyond thrilled that we’re in the semi-final of this wonderful show.”
Along with a video of the fall, Johannes uploaded a screenshot of a headline praising his sense of humour over the awkward moment.
He also shared an illustration capturing the final moments of the dance, where the dancing pair were striking an impromptu pose.
John replied to his Strictly partner’s candid post: “I love you, Jotato.”

Fellow Strictly star, Oti Mabuse, also showed Johannes her support.
She wrote: “So proud of you.”
Strictly pro Gorka Marquez said: “Have more Sas to style that end.”(sic)
Gorka’s fiancé, Gemma Atkinson, also commented on the post.
She added: “Yet You STILL styled out the final position! Amazing!”
Despite being able to look back on the slip-up with optimism, at the time Johannes seemed to regret the mistake.
He told host Tess Daly and the judging panel he was sorry for his error.
John reassured his dance partner that the mishap “didn’t matter” as they waited to hear the judges’ feedback.
