Love Island star Amy Hart has found her happily ever after after going public with her new boyfriend, model Sam Rasom.
The star, who found fame on series five of the show in 2019, is happily loved up after suffering heartbreak during her years in the spotlight.
Before finding fame on Love Island, former air hostess Amy admitted she was unlucky in the love department. When the star entered the villa in 2019, she said she'd never had a serious relationship.
She did tell one story about a past dalliance though, admitting: "When I was seeing a guy though, he wasn’t being very nice to me, I went on a night out and met someone and had a cheeky snog but I think if he was nicer to me then I wouldn’t have done it. I’m sure he was seeing a lot of other people!”
During the show, Amy coupled up and fell in love with professional dancer Curtis Pritchard. However, the dancer – then 23 – broke Amy's part in a brutal on screen dumping in which he said he couldn't see himself having marriage or kids with her despite Amy being his "half girlfriend."
Amy – who told her fellow islanders she'd fallen in love with Curtis only to watch him crack on with bombshell Maura Higgins – later said she had therapy twelve times in the villa following the savage break up. After their split, Amy left the villa.
“I was fully supported in there,” she recalled. “The welfare team come in twice a day to chat to everyone and then, if you were upset, they took you out.
“You also have access to the 24-hour psych team.”
She added: “At first I was very reluctant to use them – I felt it was weak, but then I realised everyone was using them.
“I had my therapy in the confines of the villa, you take your mic off and talk freely. I’ve never had therapy before and I didn’t know what I’d been missing.
“I want to help break the stigma, it’s so good to talk.”
Speaking to new! magazine about her dating life before she went on Celebs Go Dating in 2020, Amy previously said: "Boys I've dated in the past have always chosen someone else. I've never been enough for anyone. Hopefully Celebs Go Dating will make me more confident"
However, the show seemed to bring a bit of love life success for the star, as she met account manager Kurt McKenna and the pair seemed to hit it off. As their dates played out on screen, Amy invited Kurt to the Dominican Republic with her and the pair were even seen having the chat to be exclusive. With Amy even revealing to the experts she and Kurt had slept together.
After the show, Amy opened up about the romance and admitted that lockdown made things harder. She told OK!: "We still chat, obviously, lockdown has made it a little bit difficult.”
The star added that she and Kurt had gone back to the beginning of their relationship, explaining: "Celebs Go Dating, at the end of the day, is a TV show. And, we got to the end of it and we were like: ‘We really like each other, but we’ve been in a really weird situation together,’ so we were like: ‘Right, let’s go back to the beginning and start again and see where this goes’.”
However, the romance didn't last and earlier this year, Amy opened up about spending Valentine's Day on her own.
She explianed: "I used to stress about being single on Valentine’s Day but now I realise I’m better off being single and happy than being in the wrong relationship.
“I’m spending Valentine’s Day with my best friend Luke, who is bubbled with my family, and we will drink and eat sweets and laugh about the money we are saving by not buying Valentine’s presents.
“However, while I might be happy in my own skin, it won’t stop me window-shopping for Mr Right.”
Now, it looks as though Amy's Mr Right has come along in the form of hunky model Sam.
The Love Island star took to social media to share a picture with her new beau, with the caption: "Good things come to those who wait," with a heart eye emoji and a Champagne emoji.
