Ellie Goulding And Juice WRLD Release New Single ‘Hate Me’
Ellie Goulding has released a new single, “Hate Me,” a collaboration with Juice WRLD.
“Hate Me,” which was written by both Goulding and Juice WRLD, was produced by Jason Evigan and The Monsters and Strangerz.
“I love how this song is a bit tongue in cheek, it’s definitely lyrically different to most of my other songs but it’s fun to play around a bit,” Goulding said in a statement.
“Hate me, hate me/Tell me how you hate me/Tell me how I’m trash and you can easily replace me,” Juice WRLD croons. “Tell me that I’m strung out, wasted on the daily/Prolly ’cause there’s no one around me numbin’ all my pain.”
“I bet you don’t kiss her with your eyes closed/I bet you’re still walkin’ on a tightrope,” Goulding adds in. “Miss me so much, you’ve been goin’ psycho/You ain’t gotta say it, baby — I know.”
Goulding’s “Close to Me” recently climbed the charts all over the globe as she garnered over five billion views on YouTube, while Juice WRLD’s recent Death Race For Love LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
