Britney Spears has revealed she accidentally burnt her own gym down – but she’s not letting it hold her back with her workouts.
The Womanizer hitmaker revealed the shocking news to fans over Instagram, adding that no one was hurt in the fire.
‘Hi guys, I’m in my gym right now,’ she began in the video. ‘I haven’t been in here for like six months because I burnt my gym down unfortunately. I had two candles and, yeah, one thing led to another and I burnt it down.
‘So I’m in here and I only have two pieces of equipment left and I’m going to show you guys what I do during this time.’
Clearly not one to let it get her down, Brit got straight into an impressive workout, lifting weights, and doing squats and lunges as she got on without her equipment.
In the caption, the star acknowledged that she’s still ‘grateful’ for what she has.
‘It was an accident … but yes …. I burnt it down 🙈,’ she admitted. ‘I walked past the door to the gym and flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥 BOOM !!!!!!
‘By the Grace of God the alarm 🚨 went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt 🙏🏼. Unfortunately now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym 🙄🙄🙄 !!!!!
‘But it could be much worse so I’m grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 !!!!’
Well, she’s definitely an optimist.
Fires aside, Britney’s been struggling with missing her boyfriend Sam Asghari during the coronavirus lockdown.
‘I have been quarantining since I got back from Louisiana weeks ago… So basically I haven’t seen my boyfriend @samasghari in what feels like a lifetime!!!!’ she recently wrote.
‘I have actually lost weight from missing him…. Now none of my pants or shorts fit!!!!!
‘Guess that’s what missing someone can do…. Who else is experiencing this????!’
However, she might be missing her boyfriend of three years, but she is still enjoying her time out, explaining she has found ‘solitude’ in her beautiful home.
In another post, she continued: ‘I’m not really sure how to express in words how happy I am to find solitude in my beautiful home every day… It’s like a dream….
‘I hope you are all staying safe and playing your part ….. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!’
