Animal Shelter Waiving Adoption Fees Thanks To Donation From Miranda Lambert

Scituate Animal Shelter in Massachusetts announced that it is briefly waiving animal adoption fees after receiving a donation from country singer Miranda Lambert and her Muttnation foundation.

“There’s a reason dogs like country music. Thank you Miranda Lambert for your generous donation that allows SAS to waive adoption fees for a limited time. Lower fees = more dogs finding homes. We love you, Miranda,” the animal shelter group said on Facebook.

And it couldn’t have come at a better time, according to Scituate Animal Shelter.

“Summer is the slowest time for adoptions and we have a shelter that is absolutely full. Our pets are hoping against hope that you will come and take them home! Please come meet your new best friend today,” the shelter added.

The group expressed gratitude to Miranda Lambert and her Muttnation Foundation.
