Loose Women star Andrea McLean took to Instagram yesterday in a fit of giggles after getting an electric shock on her bottom. The 50-year-old TV presenter was enjoying a lovely country walk with her husband Nick Feeney when the shocking incident occurred.

Andrea, who regularly documents her homelife online, told her 262,000 Instagram followers about the mishap yesterday afternoon.

Her husband filmed her laughing as she explained how she had attempted to commando-style crawl under an electric fence.

Alongside the video, she wrote: “So, @lordfeeney and I went for a quiet walk in the countryside today, and this happened… #shocking.”

In the footage, the former SAS: Who Dares Wins contestant, who was wearing a pretty patterned dress, shared more details.

Nick could be heard saying: “What do you do with all the SAS training, did you think you would be able to take on this fence?… Oh no, I can’t even see this fence… this little wire here.”

He then panned the camera around to show the viewers the barely-visible wire fence which Andrea tried to wriggle under.

Andrea replied, “Exactly! I was trying to commando style crawl underneath it and I dropped my sunglasses and they fell off, so I went like that [she bent down] to get them and my bum stuck up in the air and I’ve given myself an electric shock on my bottom from the fence.

“Are you sure you didn’t do that deliberately?” her husband jokingly asked.

“Very sure.” the ITV star replied, still giggling.

SAS instructor Mark Billingham took to the comments of the post to share his thoughts and added a laughing emoji.

“How hilarious. Such a shame it wasn’t caught on camera,” one fan joked.

Another user added: “Thank you for the giggles… I couldn’t stop laughing. I hope it didn’t hurt too much.”

A third added: “They’re definitely going to add that challenge to the next series of #saswhodareswins. Tougher than the helicopter jump.”
